Media Relations Manager
Lampert Building, 218
I primarily work on developing relationships with local and national media, pitching story ideas and responding to their inquiries which often means setting up interviews with the appropriate professor or administrator.
After a career in radio and television broadcast journalism, I changed course and began working in public /media relations. I was the late Sen. Frank Lautenberg’s (D-N.J.) first deputy press secretary and have also worked at The Catholic University of America, the Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital, Hamline University and the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts. Over the years I’ve developed a specialty in crisis communications. I live in St. Paul with my two favorite collies, Macintosh and Chester.
