The initiative involved developing a comprehensive campus tree inventory, designing an educational tree tour, releasing a sociohistorical magazine to the community, and planting 15 new trees on campus. Learn more about each component below!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>New Trees on Campus<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Keep an eye out for several new saplings on campus! They will be adorned with commemorative 150th anniversary tags.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Campus Tree Inventory<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A campus tree inventory is a detailed record of the trees on campus, providing insights into their species, locations, and conditions. Since Summer 2023, Macalester students have rigorously documented and measured the trees on their campus.
