That\u2019s right, the English Department\u2019s monthly newsletter. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n Well, it\u2019s back.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n I know, I know. Try to lower your voice and keep your excitement in check. You have to stay quiet because we\u2019re sneaking out a <\/span>special, secret<\/span><\/i> September issue of <\/span>The Words<\/span><\/i>. It\u2019s to let all of you know that we\u2019re still out here, writing just for you. And maybe you\u2019ll find a little bit of a sneak peek as to what\u2019s going to happen in the English Department this semester. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n As part of the <\/span>secretive<\/span><\/i> and <\/span>unorthodox<\/span><\/i> nature of this earlier than normal issue of <\/span>The Words<\/span><\/i>, it\u2019s gonna be a bit smaller (you know, to sneak past the English Department Censors), but we\u2019re already laying the groundwork for our triumphant comeback in October, so keep your eyes peeled.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n Right now, enjoy this little taste of what\u2019s to come and remember that <\/span>nothing <\/span><\/i>can stop <\/span>The Words<\/span><\/i>. Words tend to be tenacious, persistent, resourceful\u2026 they can also be depressing, exhausting, and imposing. But that\u2019s kind of the point of words\u2014they can be anything!<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n So, the most that I can hope for is that we can provide you some informative, entertaining, and maybe even comforting words this semester.
