Seventeen English majors, across both disciplines, Creative Writing and Literature, embarked on their capstone projects this semester. Now, as the semester comes to a hectic close filled with late nights of studying, homework, and impending deadlines, their hours of hard work have paid off! On April 23rd, nine capstone students presented to a Harmon room filled to the brim with hot and sweaty friends, family, and professors.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to a broken air system, on April 24th, we all piled into a much cooler and smaller Old Main 4th Floor Lounge to listen to the remaining eight presenters. Those who were able to attend learned about a medley of different topics, from Powderhorn Park to Shakespeare and from Cats:<\/i> the Musical to the pain and love that is sports.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accompanied by snacks and drinks, these presentations were a great way to celebrate, acknowledge, and learn from the capstone students in the department! Each capstone presentation was unique and original, reflecting the students\u2019 interests and passions. See below for titles and pictures of each presentation!<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n
