This short duet reflects on the duality of isolation and togetherness.

Performed and Choreographed by:
…………………………………………………………..Lu Chen ‘22
………………………………………………….Skye Reddy ‘22

Lu Chen ‘22 is a senior Psychology and Theater and Dance double major at Macalester. Although a senior, Lu is still a new dancer and choreographer. As a growing artist, Lu is into art history, music, emotional undertone, and movement. Lu is grateful for Skye, Alice, Ndunzi, Cláudia, Wynn, and Tom for making this show happen. Lu is extremely nervous to present this piece with Skye – they rehearsed for less than half of a day due to changes and reality, but excited to dance with Skye, who has been dancing with Lu since Fall 2019! Lu also looks forward to your comment, criticism, and opportunities – welcome to email Lu at [email protected].

Skye Reddy ‘22 is a senior Theater and Dance major and Performance Design and Technologies minor. Skye is particularly interested in the intersection of dance, choreography, and film, but also enjoys costuming for performance. Skye thanks all the people, seen and unseen, who have made this show possible. Dancing today with close friend and collaborator Lu Chen, they are excited to share this work with you.
