Visiting Assistant Professor


Jeni O’Malley is a costume and scenic designer interested in innovation in design. Her recent design work includes costume design for F R I C T I O N with Sidra Bell Dance New York at New York Live Arts, Two Degrees at the Guthrie Dowling Studio with Prime Productions, Argonautika with The Guthrie BFA acting program at the University of Minnesota, HairAnnie Jr, and Willy Wonka Jr. for the Children’s Theatre Company Summer Intensive Program, Marisol and Proxima at the University of Minnesota, and The Seagull with Theatre Novi Most, as well as scenic design for In the Next Room at the University of Minnesota. Jeni’s costume design for Proxima was featured in the World Stage Design exhibit in Taipei, Taiwan 2017. Her scholarly work has been published with USITT, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and the International Symposium on Wearable Computers.
