When a person is given power, the question is will they use it for bad or good. Find the leader in the group and observe how this power dynamic might change through out the work. Strong is the artistic director and founder of the Twin Cites contemporary dance company, STRONGmovement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Student works include:&nbsp;<strong>Bo Kim\u2019s \u201917, from&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>CheonAn ChungNam,<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;South Korea,<\/strong>&nbsp;\u201cWords We\u2019ve Lost,\u201d combining martial arts, modern dance, and live vocals to explore \u201cwords forgotten from the language of our hearts;\u201d&nbsp;<strong>Catriona Leckie\u2019s \u201917, from Pelham, N.Y., \u201c<\/strong>In the Glance of the Sun,\u201d exploring the sometimes invisible magnetism that exists between people;&nbsp;<strong>Yuri Smith\u2019s \u201918, from Reston, Va.,<\/strong>&nbsp;\u201cThis Time Wouldn\u2019t Be the Last Time,\u201d empowering communities to use each other to overcome fear;&nbsp;<strong>Megan Maguire<\/strong><strong>\u2019s \u201919, from Eden Prairie, Minn.,<\/strong>&nbsp;\u201cHere to Entertain,\u201d embodying the meaning of dance as an entertainment form through elements of jazz, tap, and Broadway style movement;&nbsp;<strong>Kasia Majewski\u2019s \u201919, from Oregon, Ill.,<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;\u201c<\/strong>So She Stares Back,\u201d challenging the sexualized female image and empowering the women upon whom it is placed;&nbsp;<strong>Meghan Johnson\u2019s<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;\u201919, from Phoenix, Ariz., \u201c<\/strong>Three Windows,\u201d using modern and contemporary dance set to music by Nicolas Jaar;&nbsp;<strong>Shaylene<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;McCue\u2019s \u201918, from Antioch, Ill.,<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>\u201c<\/strong>Remembering June 23rd, 2013, after I locked the door behind you,\u201d a dance between two women and their memories;&nbsp;<strong>Molly Stark-Ragsdale\u2019s \u201917, from Missoula, Mont.,<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;\u201c<\/strong>Alula,\u201d a dance-for-camera piece reflecting on the post-human condition by confusing the boundaries between human-animal, and body-technology relationships through movement;&nbsp;<strong>Peace<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;Madimutsa<\/strong><strong>\u2019s \u201917, from Harare, Zimbabwe,&nbsp;<\/strong>\u201cCry of the Phoenix,\u201d an investigation into The Apocalypse, an ultimate end and revelation of a new era;<strong>&nbsp;Linnea Fox&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>\u201919, from&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Wettswil am Albis, Switzerland,&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Toan Thanh Doan \u201819, from Quang Ngai city, Vietnam,<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Midori Hasegawa<\/strong><strong>\u2019s \u201919, from Tokyo, Japan,&nbsp;<\/strong>\u201cPendulous,\u201d suspending dancer and viewers between spaces and asking how we navigate discomfort of homes and find peace in \u201cdis-belonging;\u201d&nbsp;<strong>Ruth<\/strong><strong>Kendrick\u2019s \u201817, from Minneapolis, Minn.,<\/strong>&nbsp;\u201cSatin Undertow,\u201d exploring instances of contrast in movement: smooth versus sharp, slow versus fast, and harmony versus cacophony; and&nbsp;<strong>Colleen Cilwick<\/strong><strong>\u2019s<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>\u201917, from Lewistown, Mont.,&nbsp;<\/strong>\u201cTerra Firma\u201d investigating intersections between the natural world and the feminine with Mother Earth as a site of spirituality, healing, and as a symbol in environmental and indigenous resistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Choreographers:<\/strong> Bo-Sung J.
