A Man. A Woman. An officer of the law. In Athol Fugard\u2019s Statements After An Arrest Under the Immorality Act <\/em>set in apartheid South Africa where relationships across the color barrier are a criminal offense, the Man and the Woman debate their love for an hour, only to be caught in the act and interrogated.  The play is a compelling and deeply moving love story in which the lovers share their deepest longings for personal and emotional freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
