Picking a major that fits best for you can be a process. Some students enter college knowing exactly what they want to major in and find that path to work for them. Others come in and think they know what they are majoring in but find that the major isn’t what they expected. Many students end up changing majors 2-3 times in college and that is normal. The Hub can help you reroute a path you once thought was clear by offering self-assessments, guided self-reflection and other resources to help in the major decision process. Although we do not offer academic advising (your faculty are the best people for that), we can help you see what career choice might be best for you.

If you are trying to figure out what you want to do with your major after graduation, make an appointment with Liz Karlen (via Handshake). The Hub partners with the Career Exploration at Macalester and can offer valuable insight on questions you may have regarding a career after graduation.
