At Macalester, we offer you on-campus wellness coaching, lunch and learns, group classes, personal training, and a host of online programs to help you reach your goals.

Leonard Center

Exercise at the Leonard Center 12 times per month (about 3 times per week) for any two months between February 1, 2019 and October 31, 2019 and this will count as a well-being activity.  Record your completion by logging into so you’re entered into our well-being prize drawings and one step closer to earning your well-being incentive.

Physical activity classes

Classes include Boot Camp, Circuit Training, Yoga and Mindfulness. Advance registration and payment of registration fee is required.  See the WHAM website for complete information.  Participation in one 6-week class counts as a well-being activity.  Record your completion by logging into so you’re entered into our well-being prize drawings and one step closer to earning your well-being incentive.

Personal training

Individual, partner, and group sessions are available with a certified fitness trainer.

Wellness coaching

Meet with our wellness coach to get personal support for making changes in your health. Topics for support include exercise, weight management, healthy eating, tobacco cessation, and stress management among others.  See our wellness coaching page for more information.  Participation in one coaching session with Kelly counts as a well-being activity.  Kelly will record your completion so that you’re entered into our well-being prize drawings.

Get healthy online or on the go

If you’ve completed a health assessment, you have access to a variety of HealthPartners online or mobile app programs. See below to find the program that’s right for you and log in to to get started.

Fun, easy and convenient. We have online programs that can help you get healthy and they only take eight weeks to complete. Just long enough for you to see results. And, now you can track your steps, sleep, stress and tobacco on-the-go with the MePlus mobile app. Download MePlus from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store by searching MePlus by HealthPartners. Just use your HealthPartners username, password and company name to get started. Choose from these options:

New!  Link your Fitness Device with the 10,000 Steps Program

Fitbit, Garmin, Jawbone, MapMyFitness… what do all these have in common?  Now they can all be linked with the HealthPartners 10,000 Steps program.  It’s never been simpler to complete this program. Start by logging into your account from a desktop computer and open the 10,000 Steps program.  Under the calendar you’ll see a “Link device” button (pictured below).  This will take you to a page where you can select the device or app you want to link.  Once you enter your information for that device, you’ll be off and running… or walking, or dancing; it all counts!
