Why should I complete a health assessment?

The path to wellness begins with understanding your own health and exploring what you can do to improve it.  As part of Macalester’s well-being program, we offer staff and faculty with HealthPartners insurance the opportunity to complete an annual health assessment to keep track of your health status and progress.

A few more good reasons 

• You’ll get a simple report outlining your health and identify where you are doing great and where there might be risks.
• You’ll be able to see how your results compare with last plan year’s results.
• Your health assessment is a great tool to start a dialog with your doctor or our Wellness Coach, Kelly Fang. Together you can create a practical plan to improve your health.
• The results are used to ensure that we’re offering health and well-being programs that are valuable for you. By completing your health assessment YOU play a role in shaping future wellness initiatives at Macalester.

Get started:

Log on to www.healthpartners.com/wellbeing with your HealthPartners username and password.  Complete your health assessment between November 1, 2017 and April 30, 2018 to earn a $50 cash reward in your paycheck.  If you complete your health assessment early, during this year’s Open Enrollment period (November 1 through 17, 2017) you’ll be entered into our weekly well-being prize drawings.  The earlier you complete your health assessment, the more chances you have to win!

Your individual results remain confidential, Macalester will only receive an overall report.    So, as an active member of the Macalester community, get involved in shaping the culture of well-being for you and your colleagues.
