Visiting Instructor
Phil is a Visiting Instructor for the Spring 2012 semester. He is currently a PhD student (ABD) in the Hispanic and Lusophone Literatures, Cultures and Linguistics program at the University of Minnesota. He studies Hispanic Linguistics and his research focuses principally on the intonational phonology of the Spanish-speaking world and the acquisition of intonation by second language learners of Spanish. He is a proud Kentuckian and enjoys basketball, soccer, cooking, and listening to music on vinyl.
