The address for Macalester College is:

By car from the airport
Follow the signs for St. Paul/Hwy 5 East. Cross the Mississippi River and exit right on to Edgecumbe Road (keep left as you exit) and follow for one mile. When the road splits, veer left onto Fairview Avenue. Follow Fairview for 2 miles. Turn right (east) on to Grand Avenue and go three blocks.
By plane, bus and train
If you are arriving in town by plane, bus or train, we recommend that you come to campus by taxi. We are approximately 15 minutes from all terminals. The fare should be $15-20. If you would prefer to use the metro transit bus system, the easiest way is to take the Hiawatha Light Rail Line (Route #55) from the airport to the 46th Street Station. From there, take the 84 bus to Snelling Avenue (the bus should say that it is traveling to Rosedale Mall on the front). For schedule info you can look online at metrotransit.org. This method is suggested only if you are carrying minimal luggage.
On Interstate 94
Exit on Snelling Avenue and go south on Snelling Avenue to Grand Avenue. Turn right (west) on Grand Avenue and go one block. Watch for our signs to direct you further.
From the north on Interstate 35
Take 35E into St. Paul. Exit to Interstate 94 westbound, and follow the directions above.
From the south on Interstate 35
Take I-35E into St. Paul. Exit at Ayd Mill Road (exit #104B). At second light, take a left onto Grand Avenue (westbound). One block after crossing Snelling Avenue, turn left (south) onto Macalester Street.
