The English Department makes full use of the manifold resources in the Twin Cities area. English majors gain valuable professional experience through internships at local organizations in a range of fields, including publishing, politics, education, and journalism. Many students apply for internships either during the summer or during the academic year. Internships can be done for pay or academic credit.
