The MAI was developed at Macalester in the summer of 2010 and piloted that fall and winter.  It is a longitudinal tool with a focus on three areas of our Mission:  Internationalism, Multiculturalism, and Service to Society.

Macalester intends to administer a revised version of the instrument again during Assessment Day 2011, with additional plans for a post-administration in the spring of a student’s senior year.
