Taous Khazem's '03 takes her one-woman play, Tizi Ouzou, to Dreamland Arts theater in St. Paul. Three-Minute Egg sat down with her to talk about the performance.

The world of stage performance--
A challenging and exhilarating realm that conjures up the vision, rage, wit, and feeling of thousands of years of dramatists, choreographers and performers -- is open to all students through Macalester's Department of Theater and Dance. Unlike conservatory training, which concentrates primarily on performance techniques, Macalester's commitment to the liberal arts gives students an interdisciplinary and multicultural perspective, along with outstanding instruction in the theater and dance arts contained within a thorough exposure to the humanities, arts and sciences. Although the demands of performance are many, so are the resources available in the Theater and Dance Department at Macalester College.
