The Next Step
All over campus, stunning building projects showcase the Step Forward
campaign’s legacy. Among its many success stories, the campaign
launched the Janet Wallace Fine Arts Center’s renovation and expansion,
beginning with the music building and the central commons.
Up next: the studio art building. The newly renovated, state-of-the-art music facilities, so close in proximity to the arts spaces, make it even more clear that now is the time to continue unifying the fine arts at Macalester. The Janet Wallace renovation’s next steps will make the arts even more accessible and continue to reframe the complex as a vibrant campus hub and gathering place for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Your support will help bring the Macalester community to art—and art to the Macalester community.
