Lunch and Learn:  mange Stress with laughter

When you’re feeling pressure and under a lot of stress, it helps to get silly!  We’ll start with smile-ups, throw in a few giggles & guffaws, remember to breathe, and learn about the history & health benefits of laughter yoga in between laughter exercises. Before you know it, you’ll have added new strategies for increased focus, team building and managing daily stress at work and at home.

Sarah Routman has a BA in English, a BFA in Photography and a MA in Adult Education.  After teaching high school English and Drama for 10 years, and running 2 non-profits for 18 years, Sarah is now a Leadership Instructor and a Wellness Champion at the University of Minnesota. As a certified Laughter Yoga Leader and Teacher she has presented countless Laughter Yoga sessions.

We invite staff and faculty to come as you are - ready to share some great laughs on Wednesday, December 7th in the Weyerhaeuser Boardroom.  Lunch will be available beginning at 11:30 am for those who register for Manage Stress with Laughter   by Monday, December 5.  Sarah will begin her presentation and laughter session at noon.
