Student groups

Student groups can use Macalester’s main logo but they cannot alter it in any way and the design must be approved by Communications. Students are welcome to develop logos and artwork that are not aligned with the college brand. If you need help with design, email [email protected].

Student group logos and marks

• Student groups are not allowed to use standard college branding unless they use it according to the brand guidelines. 
• Student groups are free to develop their own logos and marks but they cannot use any element of the Macalester brand in that artwork.
• Communications can provide guidance on artwork but cannot design logos or marks for student groups.
