A Welcome from President Rivera
As you prepare to enter college, we’re here to familiarize you with Macalester’s campus, students, professors, the Twin Cities, and our values in action. President Rivera has a unique perspective as Macalester’s new president, and she is here to welcome you to the Class of 2025.
Faculty, staff, and students will share their experiences and perspectives in a series of virtual events. Admitted students and families are invited to learn more about the Macalester community and our surrounding cities.
Imagining your life at Mac is even easier when you engage with our faculty, students, and campus. Learn more about the people and places that will guide and support you before, during, and even after college.
My Multicultural Life
Students who identify as Black, Indigenous, and/or People of Color (BIPOC); LGBTQ+; and first generation to college, come together to share their experiences at Macalester. This limited podcast series brings you stories of finding community, discovering identity, and making connections.
Roommates at Mac
Current students share some real talk about roommates. They’ll tell you that experiences are all different, there’s support in this community, and friendships and memories are part of the journey.
