Radical MacACCESS: Documentary Screening—”Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution”

Radical MacACCESS brings awareness to individuals with disabilities at Macalester. Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution is a 2020 American documentary film.  Join us for the screening and discussion of the film on Monday, April 8 from 6:00pm – 8:30pm in Humanities 226. Crip Campus is a story about what happens when a group of teens with disabilities discovers a place where instead of facing stigma, they are treated as a whole person.  Their meeting eventually leads to the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the implementation of the American with Disabilities Act.  We will be enjoying some popcorn during the movie! The movie captions will be on during the screening, if you need any other accommodations please email our office at [email protected]
