Join us for a celebration of Macalester College’s rich history and vibrant community during Founding Day 2025. This day promises a unique blend of tradition, talent, and community, offering a variety of events to commemorate our past and showcase the remarkable talents of our students. 

Pushball
Friday, March 7 – 4:30-5:30 pm, Great Lawn

Experience the revival of a 110-year-old campus tradition with Pushball. This year, we’re enhancing the program by adding snacks and beverages, including hot chocolate and cider, to entice more students to join the matches or cheer from the sidelines. Sponsored by PB, Pushball promises an afternoon of friendly competition and community spirit.

Founding Day Dinner & Student Organization Showcase
Friday, March 7 – 7:00 pm, Kagin Commons, Hill Ballroom

We invite students, faculty, and staff to a semi-formal, served dinner in the Hill Ballroom. Open to all students, this dinner features entertainment by MOAT, Pep Band, Sirens and Trads. Get ready for an evening filled with delicious food, student performances, and festivities.
