Interlibrary Loan
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a service that allows Macalester students, faculty, and staff to request materials that we do not own from other libraries. Physical items (books, DVDs, CDs) can be picked up at the library service desk. Electronic articles and chapter scans will be delivered to your iLLiad account.

You may manage and renew your ILL items through your iLLiad account. New users will be asked to create an account:
What materials can I request?
- Books
- Book chapters and articles
- DVDs and CDs
- Microform
- Material from the Center for Research Libraries
