That commitment extends to ensuring that a Macalester education remains accessible to talented students from all income levels. Beginning this fall, the Macalester Tuition Promise will ensure that domestic students from families with incomes below $100,000 and typical assets receive a full-tuition scholarship. This initiative builds on Macalester’s longstanding commitment to access and affordability by meeting 100% of demonstrated financial need for all admitted students.
