I was inspired both by a deep desire to usher forth radical and futuristic realities and moved by the asserting of political power and collective solidarity in the Black Community as if saying, ‘We Are the Ones We have Been Waiting For.’” Shá Cage ’95 will talk about launching this groundbreaking new work online and plans to publish it in book form, as well as other local initiatives she is working with aimed at centering art and equity to create change and social justice.
