I am the Department Coordinator for the Department of Spanish & Portuguese and Latin American Studies Program. I supervise our team of student staff, coordinate department events, and provide administrative support to faculty.

My research interests are related to the pedagogy, phonology, and sociolinguistic variation of Spanish as a heritage language. I am currently studying the implementation of peer-tutoring as a means of academic and social support for latinx students in college, as well as a theoretical analysis of voiced stop lenition in heritage Spanish.
