Ruoxi Song

Ruoxi Song is the Chinese Language Lab Instructor. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages from Huaqiao University and a master’s degree in Second Language and Culture Education from the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities. With more than a decade of experience in heritage, immersion, and world language programs, she brings a student-centered and innovation-driven approach to language instruction. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes inclusive engagement, cross-cultural understanding, whole-person development, and preparing students for real-world readiness. Outside the classroom, she enjoys reading and writing, exploring new languages and cultures, practicing photography and cooking, and discovering both big and small wonders with her child.
