Workday/Worktag Look up Tool

The Workday/Worktag Look up tool is available to anyone with Macalester College credentials to help translate a FOAPAL (Banner account code) to Workday Worktag.

Tips to use the tool

• You may need to open with an Incognito (Chrome) or Private (Firefox) tab if you receive the error message, “User has insufficient permissions to execute “Argos Web API.AP Workday/Wotktag Lookup Tool “.
  • You will see the Macalester SSO login screen, use your Macalester credentials to log in.
    • If you receive the pop up message that asks for “macadmsys.macalester.edu wants access”, answer ALLOW.
• Ideally, you should enter the FULL FOAPAL to see the FULL Workday Worktag accounting code.
• If using a form OUTSIDE of Workday, you will need to enter the FULL Worktag translation.
• Within Workday, the system can find Worktags by searching by key words.
  • Refer to Workday Spend Categories with description to find the Spend Category Name for the SC#
