“Real Self Care:” A Conversation with Pooja Lakshmin, M.D.

You are warmly invited to a conversation with Dr. Pooja Lakshmin, author of Real Self Care (2023). Dr. Lakshmin is clinical assistant professor of psychiatry at the George Washington University School of Medicine; the founder of Gemma, the digital community focused on women’s mental health and equity; and a contributor to The New York Times. Come learn how she supports women and marginalized groups heal from the tyranny of faux self-care, while exposing the systems that have gotten us here. All faculty and staff are welcome to join us for the opportunity to focus on your *real* self care.
