XIII - X-ertion & 13th Street Collaboration Showcase

X-ertion and 13th Street will be having their fall showcase on Saturday, Nov. 16, in the Kagin Commons, Alexander G. Hill Ballroom. Doors open at 7 p.m. Come support our dancers and see some amazing dances! 


13th Street (Calle 13) creates a space where Macalester students can explore hip-hop as a LatinX dance form, learning about its cultural, historical, and physical context through their dancing body and critical conversations!


X-ertion is a student-organized dance club created to serve students who are interested in the popular dance cultures of East Asian Nations. We aim to provide a supportive environment where students can explore dance, develop creativity, and enjoy popular or traditional Asian music!
