New Moon Bonfire

Here at Macalester we join with communities around the world in the time honored tradition of celebrating the cycles of the moon. Every other week, on the evenings of the full moon and the new moon we build a fire, share stories and song and stand with each other to remember and celebrate our common birthright as children of the earth and affirm our commitment to doing well by that obligation. Everyone is welcomed and encouraged to join. If you play an instrument, bring it along. If you have some marshmallows, bring them along.

All gatherings happen at 6 pm on the lawn east of the chapel.
