Shining Light into Darkness: Stories of Refugee Work on the Polish-Ukrainian Border

Russian Studies is hosting a conversation with Alexandra Sakurets, a Ukraine-born Minneapolis resident and a registered nurse. Alexandra recently returned from Przemyśl, Poland, on the border with Ukraine, where she spent three weeks treating refugees and providing humanitarian aid to those escaping the war. The discussion will be conducted in English, and snacks will be provided. All are welcome!
