Mac Project Corps
Mac Project Corps is a virtual, two-week immersive micro-internship where students work together to solve a problem for a community partner.
During January 2022, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in Mac Project Corps!
- gain career readiness skills,
- receive guidance from Macalester alumni,
- collaborate in teams to solve a problem for a community partner, and
- receive a $100 stipend for your work.
The two week virtual program will take place January 4-14, 2022 and is roughly a 10 hour a week commitment. Students can be based anywhere in the world and still participate! The team with the best plan for their community partner will receive an additional $1,000 prize to be split amongst the team.
The first week will consist of career curriculum modules and a virtual office tour with your community partner. The second week, you’ll be placed into working teams of 4 to 5 to solve the problem presented by your community partner. Final plan presentations will be held at the end of the week.
Apply now to participate in January, 2022! Application deadline has been extended to Monday, December 6.
Mac Project Corps is a collaboration of The Olin-Rice Hub, Career Exploration, and Alumni Engagement.
