Primary Logo
Macalester's primary logo has a blue shield at the top with the college's wordmark written in gray below it.

The primary Macalester College logo consists of the shield and the wordmark. The two-color logo should only appear in MAC Blue and MAC Light Gray as shown and should only appear on a white background. The typography and the spatial relationship to the shield are predetermined and should not be altered.

The logos should be used exactly as specified, and should not be manipulated or altered.

How to use Macalester’s primary logo

Dos and Don’ts

  • Do give the logo the proper amount of clear space
  • Do keep the logo in proportion
  • Do reverse the logo on a blue or orange background
  • DON’T put text or design elements too close to the logo OR on the logo, especially the shield
  • DON’T warp or stretch the logo
  • DON’T alter any spacing.
