1. Internship Opportunity with Lake Minnetonka Garden Club

The Lake Minnetonka Garden Club is pleased to announce its annual $3,000 merit based undergraduate or graduate scholarship for students pursuing careers in the following fields of study: Botany, Conservation and Ecological Restoration, Garden History and Design, Horticulture and Related Fields, Landscape Architecture, Native Bird Habitat, Pollinator Research, and Urban Forestry.

Students may apply by visiting the Lake Minnetonka Garden Club website and selecting the “Scholarships” section. All application materials must be submitted by the deadline. 

2. The Toro Company, Sustainability Intern

The 2026 Summer Internship Program will run from May 18, 2026, through August 7, 2026. Candidates must be available to start on May 18 and participate through the duration of the program. The Sustainability Intern at The Toro Company, you will work with a cross-functional team of engineers and scientists on projects that blend sustainability, product development, and applied research. You’ll contribute to efforts that improve environmental outcomes through better technology, data, and design.

3.  Student PIRGs Leadership Opportunity

This October, Student PIRGs is launching Zero Waste Month of Action, and we want YOU to be part of it! Participate in various weeks of action to tackle plastic pollution, promote reuse over waste, address fast fashion, and much more. Sign up here!
