Make sure you fully understand what you are responsible for in a sublease agreement and what the previous tenants are responsible for. An agreement should include move in/out dates, rent per month, and which party is responsible for utilities, internet, and garbage and other responsibilities.  The Office of Student Affairs is not responsible for issues arising due to subletter agreements, or lack thereof.  Always verify that the landlord/owner of the property approves of subletting before signing a subletting agreement.

Basic information: First floor (actually the lighting is pretty good), 2 bedrooms, one living room, one kitchen and one bathroom. Apartment configuration: gas stove (with flame), refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, two bedroom with walk-in wardrobe, the apartment with its own public laundry. Price: About $665.50/month (excluding the water and electricity grid), for two male, adding the water and electricity grid generally little over 700 (about 710-720). Depending on the water and electricity usage and the network package ordered, the water and electricity price is considered cheap around the surroundings. Others: There is a quiet upcoming senior roommate (male), major in mathematics and computer science. Except for cooking in the kitchen, he always stays in his room and doesn’t come out.

Very close to the OlinRice. I checked many times and found that I walked about 7–9 minutes on the first floor of Olin (similar to going from the dorm). Not long walking distance to the ALine bus stop and takes one stop to Campus Center. Take two stops to the Whole Foods. There are some restaurants and bubble tea shops nearby (Simplicitea). Turn right at the door of apartment that’s Starbucks, and there is St. Paul Corner Drug at the intersection (there is no need to go to the CVS pharmacy in another direction when the medicine is prescribed in the school health and wellness center).

The landlord company has its own emergency repair business. The damage to the room’s own items (such as refrigerators, etc.) or water seepage and gas problems are all free repairs. (8/4/2025)
