Grand Cambridge Apartments Information

The Grand-Cambridge Apartments are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors above the Pad Thai restaurant at the corner of Grand Avenue and Cambridge Street. Each of the 8 apartments has space for 4 students.

Resident Information: Rising Juniors and Seniors will draw first,  rising sophomores second.
General Room Information: Four apartments have 2 single bedrooms and a double bedroom. Four have two double bedrooms.  Each has an open kitchen, dining and sitting area.
Bathrooms:  2 bathrooms in each apartment.
Laundry Facilities:  laundry room on each floor.
Kitchen: Full kitchen with full-size refrigerator, sink, dishwasher, stove and microwave oven in each apartment.
Room Dimensions: Single: 12’ x 9’ ; Double: 16’ x 10’;
Room Furnishings: Traditional, non-lofted furniture. Bed size is twin extra long: 36” x 80”

Ongoing Construction: Construction of Macalester’s new Residence Hall and Welcome Center will impact many buildings, closest to Grand Cambridge Apartments and GDD, Bigelow, Bowman, and Wallace halls. There may be construction impacts around these areas including but not limited to noise, ease of access, etc.
