English students, staff, and faculty flocked to the Old Main 4th floor lounge to celebrate a haunted Halloween evening with snacks, hot drinks, and lively banter hosted by the English Honor Society. They witnessed the unmasking of this year’s department shirt, appropriately featuring Mary Shelley, the creator of the science fiction classic Frankenstein. A showing of the 1931 film version of the novel, accompanied by spooky tunes, set the mood for the seasonal soiree. If you were too busy trick-or-treating to make it to the event, please accept these photos as a creepy keepsake.
