November ACC Meeting

Jenn Haas, Macalester’s Workday Change Management Lead, shared an update at the recent Administrative Coordinators Collective (ACC) meeting.
Macalester’s implementation team has just completed key configuration sessions with Workday and will begin initial testing soon. We may reach out for community support during later testing phases and will continue to share updates about training and other important information as the project progresses.
Workday Phase 1 (HR and Finance)
Phase 1 will introduce changes to several everyday processes, including:
- Entering and approving time
- The staff hiring experience
- Hiring student workers
- Viewing Payroll information
- Reconciling P-cards
- Viewing and managing budgets
Workday Phase 2 (Student)
The Student phase is a two-year project beginning in late summer 2026. It will focus on:
- Registrar functions (course setup and scheduling, curriculum management)
- Student registration to courses
- Financial Aid and student records
