Join us at Macalester for an entire day of exploring campus and meeting the Mac community! As you contemplate colleges and research your options, Macalester invites you to connect with our current students, professors, and staff at our college in the city at this special on-campus event.

You are invited to begin and end your day at our group events. For the remainder of your time, you’ll choose from our list of options and fill your day with activities that interest you most.
Class visits are only open to student visitors. We ask that parents and other guests choose another activity while their student is in class. At 10:50, all visitors are welcome to join a special sample class taught exclusively for Meet Mac visitors.

Sample Class – Sounding the Starry Vault: Beethoven and Kant’s Sublime
Professor Mark Mazullo (Music)
Through guided discussion and brief piano performances, Professor Mazullo will introduce participants to Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 32, the writings of Immanuel Kant, and exploration of the far reaches of the universe in this sample class sure to delight all guests, regardless of prior musical knowledge.
