Megan Vossler teaches Drawing 1 and Drawing 2. She received her BA in Studio Arts from Brown University (Rhode Island), and her MFA in Visual Studies (Drawing/Painting) at Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Her graphite drawings, mixed media pieces, and video works are exhibited nationwide, with recent shows at Franklin Art Works, the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, the Soap Factory, and the Wooster Art Museum in Ohio.
Megan has been the recipient of several prestigious awards, including a Jerome Foundation Fellowship for Emerging Artists (2005), a McKnight Artists Fellowship for Visual Artists (2007), and a Jerome Foundation Travel and Study grant (2009). She is an active member of the Twin Cities arts community, lecturing regularly at the Walker Art Center, serving on the panel for the Minnesota Artists Exhibition Program at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, and contributing to local arts media including Art Hounds (Minnesota Public Radio) and Salon Saloon (Bryant Lake Theatre). When she is not teaching or talking about art, she is working on more drawings at her studio in Minneapolis.
