Chad Kampe: At Macalester, Chad majored in Media & Communications and Humanities & Cultural Studies. Directly after graduating, Chad taught third, fourth, and fifth grade in the Twin Cities. In 2009, he graduated from Columbia University in New York with a masters in education. He spent a few years as the executive director of 826 Twin Cities, a creative writing and tutoring non-profit founded by Dave Eggers. In 2011, Chad founded Flip Phone, an LGBTQ+ events and party company. Over the last eleven years, Flip Phone has grown into a national event company that serves over 90,000 people in seven states. Chad produces the annual Golden Girls cruise, drag brunches, and dance parties. Chad lives with his husband Matt and French bulldog, Dolly B Barkon, in Minneapolis.

Ariel Dumas: After majoring in Theater & Dance and German Studies at Macalester College, Ariel spent several years performing in the Twin Cities theater scene while working in the admission office at the Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Affairs. A move to Chicago ensued, where Ariel enrolled in improv classes at the iO Theater and Second City, which led her to performing nationally with the Second City Touring Company. She then landed a staff writing job on The Colbert Report and now works as head writer and supervising producer at The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. She's also writing the screenplay and lyrics for a fully animated Looney Tunes musical for Warner Bros. Ariel hails from Long Lake, Minnesota, and her favorite Macalester dorm is Doty 2. She lives in New York City with her husband Andrew and their two cats.
