Author, New World A-Coming: Black Religion and Racial Identity during the Great Migration (2017, NYU Press).

Dr. Weisenfeld's work on the ways that "religion" and "race" have combined, separated, and been deployed largely to disparage Black attempts to self-define and determine their own identities and futures.
