Community and Global Health 10th Anniversary Celebration

This event celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Community and Global Health (CGH) concentration. It will feature a talk by CGH alumna Lily Alexander '14 and a dinner with students, faculty, and alumni connnected with the program through the years. After graduating from Macalester in 2014, Lily received a post-baccalaureate fellowship at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) in Seattle, while earning her MPH degree at the University of Washington. She worked for a summer at the National Institute for Public Health in Cuernavaca, Mexico and for over a year at the Innovation Next Accelerator Program developing technological innovations to prevent teen pregnancy. Currently she works at the King County (Washington) Department of Public Health, where she is focused on public health communication and sexual and reproductive health. All CGH concentrators, and anyone interested in public health, are invited to the talk. Dinner will be served at 6:00 pm. Please RSVP for dinner to [email protected]
