Reparations or Restitution: Is U.S. Slavery a Moral or Legal Issue?

U.S. history claims black slavery was legal, but morally wrong.  Currently, there are many questions around the topic of reparations for the grave injustices and horrors of slavery in the wider public discourse.  Alumnus Larry Alexander '73 and Jim Stewart, James Wallace Professor of History Emeritus, will examine these questions and engage in conversation with attendees.  Refreshments will be served.
