Manage Your Information

As an employee of Macalester, keeping your contact information up to date ensures that you are able to receive Macalester College communications, legal and tax notifications and safety alerts in a timely manner. In addition, having your personal email or phone number on file allows you to set up multi-factor authentication to securely access data and applications, and reset your password. You can view your information on file by accessing the Personal Information section of the Employee Dashboard.

Pronouns

Macalester Faculty and Staff can now opt to have their pronouns displayed with their name, title, department and contact information on the Macalester website Directory. This new feature is available in the Employee Dashboard on 1600grand, and allows an employee to voluntarily select pronouns from a list. Once selected, the pronouns will appear in the Macalester Directory upon the next refresh. Please note that once your pronouns are entered, they will be visible to the general public, as is all directory information. Personal Contact Records

Employees can submit changes to personal contact information such as preferred name, home address, personal cell phone, personal email address or emergency contact via the secure Personal Information Update Form. Emergency contacts and personal email can also be updated directly in the Employee Dashboard on 1600grand.

Personal Identity Records

Employees can also use the Employee Dashboard on 1600grand to view, add or update pronouns, gender identity, race and ethnicity, veteran status and disability status. Pronouns will be the only personal identity information shared publicly on the Macalester Directory. All other personal identity information is confidentially stored in Banner and subject to FERPA and HIPAA privacy laws.
