Jan Beebe

Jan has had the honor of working in the Department Coordinator position in the English and Creative Writing department for fifteen plus years. Coming to Macalester with a Masters in the Social Work area and a history of work experience in youth and families in crisis and building families through adoption, the role of coordinating a department and building community has been a natural one. Working with the faculty and the students in the department and overseeing a team of wonderful student workers is the best part of working at Macalester.
