Michelle Milne is a Visiting Associate Professor. She received her PhD from Washington University in St. Louis in 2010 and taught at St. Mary’s College of Maryland for over a decade. She enjoys teaching classes across the undergraduate physics curriculum. Her research focuses on acoustics and how ultrasound interacts with various materials as a function of structure, with an eye towards medical applications such as echocardiography. She is also interested in physics pedagogy and how students learn concepts and skills, particularly in laboratory classes.
