Fernanda is a Brazilian native who teaches Portuguese and Spanish. She has been teaching language courses for more than twenty years and she is thrilled to be part of the Spanish and Portuguese Department at Macalester.
Her academic interests include Afro-Brazilian literature, Brazilian Literature and culture, the African Diaspora, women’s writing, race and gender issues.
