Jenn Pray is a Twin Cities based dancer, choreographer and teaching artist committed to socially engaged work. Originally from central Iowa, Jenn is a 2012 graduate from the University of Iowa, where she earned a BA in Dance & International Studies with high distinction. Her teaching and performance credits span the US, the Netherlands, Germany, Mexico, and the Caribbean. In the Twin Cities, Jenn has worked with choreographers and companies including Threads Dance Project, STRONGmovement, Live Action Set, Ballet Minnesota, and Penny Freeh. She is currently a nationally touring company artist with Stuart Pimsler Dance & Theater (SPDT). Jenn’s choreography has been presented by Tanzwerkstatt Europa in Munich, Cafe Belcampo in Amsterdam, The Southern Theater in Minneapolis, Threads Dance Project, Iowa Dance Theatre, and the Minnesota Museum of American Art. As a teacher, Jenn is dedicated to inspiring artistry and expressiveness in her students.
